February 1, 2016 – Summer Program Registration Opens
Online registration for ALL Summer Programs begins on February 1st at 9:00 AM. You can register for the Summer Program by going to the “Online Registration” link. The Hingham Recreation Summer Programs are for Hingham residents only.
If your child wishes to be placed in a group with his or her friend, the request must be emailed to Kathy Walsh. Friend requests noted on applications will not be accepted. Each child is allowed to request to be grouped with one child in his or her grade level. Group request must be submitted 3 weeks prior to the start of the session for which the request is being made. Group requests will only be processed if both children are enrolled in the program at the time the request is placed. Counselor requests will not be accepted.
Note: Friend requests are not guaranteed. The Senior Staff will make their best effort to fulfill all friend requests properly placed three weeks before the start of each session. However, in some instances staff to child ratio requirements prevent the fulfillment of all friend requests.
FEBRUARY 1, 2016 – APRIL 30, 2016 – INITIAL REFUND PERIOD
During this initial refund period customers requesting refunds will receive a 94% refund. This refund rate is typical of all Recreation programs and reflects the 6% processing fee associated with all transactions performed through our Activenet software.
MAY 1, 2016 – ADDITIONAL FEES FOR WITHDRAWAL
Anyone requesting a refund after May 1st will be charged the 6% processing fee in addition to a $25 withdrawal fee. This additional fee reflects the fact that staff have been hired to the program based on enrollment. Additionally, the Recreation Department reserves the right to limit refunds requested during this period based on the Rec’s ability to fill the spot.
