April 23, 2007 Meeting Minutes

Present:  Port, Bierwirth, Allinson, Alvarado, Barclay, Burns, Ellison, Farrell, Friedman, Kiernan, Lauter, Manning, O'Meara, Reardon, Seelen

Chair Linda Port called the meeting to order at 6:09PM at Hingham High School.

The Advisory Committee voted favorably to reconsider Warrant Article 19:  CPC - 667 Main Street.

A lengthy discussion occurred with Bill Reardon providing new information for the Committee:

• The appraised value ($515,000) of the Main Street property was greater than the amount ($420,000) the Community Preservation Committee (CPC) proposed in Warrant Article 19.
• Dogs would be allowed as long as they were on a leash.
• Parking would be on Town owned land.  The Town owns the land from the sidewalk to the street.

The Advisory Committee voted no action on Article 19:  CPC - 667 Main Street.

The Advisory Committee approved a Reserve Fund Transfer of $14,500 for a new pumpout boat for the Harbormaster. 

The meeting recessed at 7:06PM to the Town Meeting.  The Advisory Committee adjourned coincident with Town Meeting adjournment.
