September 12, 2006 Meeting Minutes
Present: Port, Bierwirth, Alvarado, Barclay, Burns, Ellison, Farrell, Friedman, Lauter, Manning, Seelen
Chair Linda Port called the meeting to order at 7:32 PM in the Town Hall Building.
The Committee reviewed and approved the minutes from the June 27, 2006 meeting after clarifying the wording for the paragraph concerning the Central Fire Station Project.
The new Advisory Committee members, Amy Farrell and Dennis Friedman, were introduced and welcomed.
Jerry Seelen reported on the status of the Central Fire Station Building Committee project. Alison Ferrante, Chair of the Committee, introduced the Committee members present (Tina Sherwood, Tom Carey, and Tally Lauter) and thanked Tina Sherwood for her service as the past Chair.
Alison updated the Committee on the following:
Alison informed the Committee that they would be returning to the AdCom meeting on September 26th with final costs.
The Chair thanked the Fire Station Committee and Chief Mark Duff for their efforts.
Ted Alexiades discussed the various options available to address the additional project costs.
The Chair reviewed the "Advisory Committee Rules" document.
A brief overview of the School Facilities project was provided.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:08PM.
