MINUTES OF THE NOVEMBER 22, 2011
MEETING OF THE COUNTRY CLUB MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE (CCMC),
AT THE SOUTH SHORE COUNTRY CLUB (SSCC)
Members Present: Kathleen Curley, Paul Casey Kerry Ryan and William Friend.
Others Attending: Jay McGrail, the SSCC's Director of Operations
The meeting commenced, with a quorum present, at 6:00 PM.
After calling the meeting to order, the Chairman asked Jay McGrail to review the current 2012 fee schedule proposals with the Committee. Jay McGrail first presented a schedule with a proposed fee increase along with other adjustments to the Committee and then followed with a schedule showing a lesser fee increase and other adjustments. He noted his preference for the lower increase and then explained why he thought it would be the appropriate choice.
As part of the discussion of the two proposals the Committee also reviewed and discussed comments received from current golf members, young professionals and Hingham residents with regard to the fee proposals. At this time, adjustments to the two proposals were offered and discussed.
Following a lengthy discussion of the proposals and the alternatives it was agreed that the Committee would meet after Thanksgiving and make its final decision on the 2012 fee schedule.
Thereafter, on motion duly made and seconded, the Committee voted unanimously to adjourn.
