ELECTRICAL PERMIT FEE SCHEDULE

EFFECTIVE 4/1/03

GENERAL

  1. Fees for unusual or special or special conditions not itemized, will be determined by the Electrical Inspector and/or Building Commissioner.
  2. Any additional inspections beyond those included in the minimum fee shall be charged at the rate of $20. per inspection.
  3. Inspections required for non-compliant work, shall be charged at the rate of $25. per inspection.
  4. All permits shall be obtained within five (5) days of commencing work. Any person who has not received a permit will be required to pay DOUBLE the normal fee for that particular permit.

FEE MINIMUM

1. Minimum Permit FeeResidential $25.
  Minimum Permit Fee Commercial $35.
2. The Fee if two inspections are required $50.
3. New Sing. Fam.Dwell. /Complete Rehab + over 50% $150.
4. Temporary Service $25.
5. 100AMP Service $25.
  Each Addn'l. 100 AMPS or portion of (with1 meter) $20.
  Each Addn'l. meter $5.
  Sub Panel each 100 AMPS $5.
6. Swimmimg Pools (inground) $60.
  (above ground) $45.
7. Hot Tubs/Spas $25.
8. Lighting Fixtures, Outlets, Switches (1-50) $15.
  (51+) $25.
9. Private Street Lighting (per pole) $5.
10. Major Appliances $5.
11. Heating, Ventilating & A/C units $5.
12. Motors & Generators $5.
13. Motion Picture Machines and Special Apparatus $30.
14. Signs $ 5.
15. Exit Signs/Emergency Lights $ 2.
16. Low Voltage $20.
17. Fire Alarm/Burglar Alarm (2 inspections) $ 45
  (1 inspection) $25.
18. Gasoline Pumps (up to 3) $10.
19. Maintenance Permit (up to 5 insp. per year) $100.
20. Grounding of Metal Siding and Metal Bldg. $20.
