Trench Rescue

On Sunday, May 23rd, 2004, Members from the Hingham Fire Department and members of the Plymouth County Technical Rescue Team conducted a simulated trench rescue at the rear of Fire Headquarters, 339 Main Street in Hingham. The Hingham D.P.W. was very helpful in bringing in a backhoe and opening the field. Two large trenches were dug - one in straight line and the other in a "L" shape to give two different scenarios. Members attended from the Bridgewater, Kingston, Hanson, Hanover Fire Departments as well as members from the on-duty shift and a few off-duty personnel from the Hingham Fire Department.
