It is time for the 52nd Annual July 4th Road Race, organized by Hingham Recreation Commission. Race proceeds offset program costs, fund 32 Summer program scholarships based on need, special programs, provide Rec Center and field equipment and supplies. Community race, over 2000 pre-registered runners in 2009, wheelchair division, 22 age and gender categories, medal awards follow race.

Non Refundable Registration Fee:
$18 Registration Fee through July 3rd
$20 Registration Fee Day of Race between 5:30 am and 6:30 am.

Runner Info: Unique Course: 4.47 miles, point to point, certified USA Track and Field. Fast, runner friendly, downhill-dipped, few gradual uphill climbs, down historic Main St., ending under huge flag with enthusiastic crowd.

New Start: The new Start line will be divided in to 4 sections - less than 7 minutes per mile, between 7-8 minutes per mile, between 8-9 minutes per mile, and more than 9 minutes per mile.

Support Services: 3 water stations, EMT services. Restrooms at start area only. Bus transportation before and after race.

June 28 - July 2 Monday - Friday 9 AM - 6 PM
Saturday July 3, 9:00 AM - 12 Noon

For Race Safety: No pets, strollers, baby joggers, skates, boards, or bikes. Unregistered runners will be diverted off the course
