OPEN RECREATION HOURS
Open Rec will resume on Tuesday September 2, 2008. Open Rec will be Sunday through Saturday in both the gymnasium and game room.
Due to limited participation at Open Rec, the gymnasium will be used for organized recreation programs on some weekdays. The gymnasium will be open when a recreation program is not in session. The schedule for the fall will be posted once fall programs are scheduled.
Game Room: Sunday - Saturday 3 - 6 PM

The mission of the Hingham Recreation Commission is to provide high quality, affordable recreation programs as well as maintain safe and accessible fields and facilities throughout the Hingham community. our program offerings will strive to assist all Hingham residents in enhancing their physical, social and emotional well-being.

- Fall 2008 Recreation Brochure
- The Hingham Recreation Department including the Fitness Room will be closed from August 29 - September 1
- FALL PROGRAM BROCHURES will be mailed to every household in Hingham the first week in September. Registration for fall programs will begin on Saturday September 20, 2008.from 9 - 11 AM at the Recreation Center. Most fall programs are scheduled to begin the week of October 6, 2008.
- The Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation has selected the Hingham Recreation Department to participate in the "Use Nature As Your Guide" Park Pass Program. Residents are invited to explore 450,000 acres of parks, campgrounds, forests, mountains and beaches right in your own back yard! Residents may borrow the ParksPass from the Recreation Department entitling the bearer to free parking for one vehicle at over 50 facilities in the Massachusetts state park system.
- You'll flip for our new GYMNASTICS program held on Thursdays. Register and start any time. Fee will be prorated.

10-week program fee to reserve a bike is $70 per class per session. *6-week program fee prorated to $42.

- Childcare will resume on Tuesday September 2, 2008. The fee is $4 per child per hour. Tickets are the method of payment for childcare.
