OPEN RECREATION HOURS

During the school year, Open Rec will be Sunday through Saturday in the game room.

The gymnasium will be used for organized recreation programs on some weekdays. The gymnasium will be open when a recreation program is not in session.

Gym Open Rec Hours 1/24-3/1

Tuesday: 4:30 - 6:00 PM

Wednesday: 3:00 - 4:30 PM

Thursday: 4:30 - 5:30 PM

Sat & Sun: 3:00 - 6:00 PM

BIRTHDAY PARTIES

Please call the Recreation office to check for birthday party availability. Birthday parties are only scheduled on Fridays nights (6:30 PM – 8:00 PM), Saturday afternoons (11:00 AM – 12:30 PM) or (1:00 PM - 2:30 PM), Saturday nights (6:30 PM – 8:00 PM, and Sunday afternoons (11:00 AM – 12:30 PM) or (1:00 PM - 2:30 PM).

Summer Program 2012 Online Registration Begins February 1 at 6 PM

In order to register for the 2012 Summer Program please click the link "Programs" on the left side of the homepage. All recreation programs will be listed in alphabetical order. You may have to change the page in order to find the Preschool, Playground, or Teen Xtreme programs. Active online registration charges the consumer 5% for online transactions. However, there is a max convenience charge of $15 per transaction. It is important to register all children and all session selections on one transaction so that you don't pay more than $15.

HINGHAM RECREATION FRIDAYS

6th, 7th, & 8th Grade Dances: Looking for a fun way to spend a Friday night? If you are a Hingham student in grades 6, 7, or 8, the Rec Department invites you to attend its Friday night dances. These supervised dances provide a great opportunity for students to get out of the house and interact with their peers. Dances will run from 7-9 PM. - Fridays: (12/16) (3/16) (5/4)

45 Club: For 4th and 5th graders looking for their own Friday night activity, the Rec Department will offer a special version of Open Rec from 6:30 - 8:30 PM on select Friday nights. Children will be provided with a pizza dinner and free access to all video and arcade games.
