Unclaimed Monies

Please be advised that the Treasurer for the Town of Hingham is in possession of checks which have been issued by the Town and not cashed and are presumed to be abandoned.

Notice has been sent to the last known address of the apparent owners of these checks as required by Mass General Laws Chapter 200A. 

Any interested party may obtain information about these checks.   Please address your claim inquiry by first class mail to Jean Montgomery, Treasurer Collector 210 Central Street, Hingham, MA 02043; by email to montgomery@hingham-ma.com or by phone at 781-741-1408.  Our office hours are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 8:30 - 4:30; Tuesday, 8:30 - 7 PM; and Friday, 8:30 - 1.
