New Transfer Station Disposal Rates Effective May 1st

Starting May 1, 2021, new rates will be in effect at the Hingham Transfer Station. All Hingham residents will be charged for Appliances, Electronics, and C&D/Bulky Waste (Including Furniture) according to the updated rates approved by the Board of Selectmen on March 16, 2021, shown below:

Appliances (Microwaves, Stoves, Refrigerators, etc.) - $15 Per Item
Electronics (TV's, CRT's, Monitor's) - $15 Per Item
Residential C&D/Bulky Waste Fee (Including Furniture) - $120 Per Ton $15 min under 250 lbs. then $.06 per lb.

All vehicles with commercial plates or lettering will be charged according to the updated rates approved by the Board of Selectmen on March 16, 2021, shown below:

Hingham Resident Commercial Sticker (Hingham Debris Only) - $50 - Yearly
Out of Town Commercial Sticker (Hingham Debris Only) - $150 - Yearly
All Commercial C&D/Bulky Waste Fee (Hingham Debris Only) - $320 Per Ton $45 min under 300 lbs. then $.16 per lb.

The Hingham Transfer Station is open Thursday – Sunday, 7:00am – 4:00pm
