1. Call to Order

2. Approval of Minutes
2.1 Minutes of the joint School Committee and Advisory Committee Education Subcommittee Meeting held on December 12, 2017.

3. Questions and Comments
Audience comments are always welcome as agenda items are discussed. The School Committee has set aside fifteen minutes on this agenda to enable members of the audience to raise questions and make comments on any matter of general concern that is not on the agenda. Individual speakers shall be limited to three minutes. Speakers are reminded that the meeting is being televised and are asked to respect the privacy rights of others. Comments against any individual are not allowed by Policy #3.7.5.

7. New Business
7.1 To discuss Foster School SOI update from MSBA, including consideration of resubmitting an SOI application in the Spring of 2018 with action as appropriate.

7.2 To receive proposed revisions to Policy Section 4 (Fiscal Management), as recommended by the Policy Subcommittee (1st Reading).

7.3 To receive proposed revisions to Policy 6.2 (Age Requirements), as recommended by the Policy Subcommittee (1st Reading).

7.4 To receive proposed revisions to Policy 1.7 (Acceptance of Gifts and Major Fundraising), as recommended by the Policy Subcommittee (1st Reading).

7.5 To review the FY19 Budget Calendar and upcoming School Committee dates and responsibilities.

7.6 To receive notification of the overnight field trip of High School students to Cabarete, Dominican Republic on February 15 to 22, 2019 (or February 16 to 23, 2019, depending on flights).
