Introducing Summer Programming at Hingham Community Center. Hingham Community Center is bringing back Summer programming to the Center. We are starting slowly offering limited classes, but we have some new and exciting classes being offered .

The newest program to the roster is "Let's Put on a Show!" with director, Colleen Quinn. Colleen holds a BA in Theatre and Dance from St. Mary’s College and an MFA in Choreography and Performance from Smith College. She is a full-time teacher of music, theatre and movement at Inly School in Scituate, MA. Colleen also enjoys choreographing and performing in musicals for local colleges and community theatres. " We have be so successful with our Isadora Duncan program at the Hingham Community Center,I felt that a theater pilot class would be highly successful. I have always loved theatre and it is a natural progression to expand my programming. hopefully, we will continue the fall"-Colleen Quinn

Other programs available are; Baby Ballerina, classes for children ages 2-3, Creative movements for children 2.8 - 4, Pre-ballet for children 5-7 , ballet and tap ages 4-5, Rock band week long session, Kids Art and color technique, among others.

The Hingham Community Center (HCC) is a 501(c)(3) organization that provides an array of programs, classes, activities, and community events to the entire South Shore community and is located in the Ensign John Thaxter house, at the corner of South and Central street in Hingham Square at 70 South Street.
