Attention Hingham Seniors,
You may qualify for property tax relief under the Town’s new “Senior Means-Tested Tax Exemption” program. This new exemption is available to Hingham seniors age 65 and older who have lived in Hingham for at least 10 consecutive years and meet certain income, asset, and other criteria.
Applications for the FY23 Senior Means-Tested Real Estate Tax Exemption are now available through the Assessor’s Office. The deadline to apply is September 1, 2022.
