The Weir River Water System would like to notify residents of a fire flow test being performed at 9pm tonight June 10, 2024 on Jerusalem road in Cohasset. A fire flow test measures the pressure and flow of water at specific fire hydrants in a water distribution system. The data collected is used to assess the water's availability for fire protection and sprinkler system design. Due to the large amount of water utilized during a fire flow test we do anticipate the possibility of discolored water.
