The Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) new lead and copper rule revisions (LCRR) took effect on October 16, 2024.
A letter that includes an informational page regarding your classification will be mailed on or before November 15, 2024. It is being sent to all properties that were classified as Partial Lead, Potential Lead-Lined Galvanized Iron, or Unknown-Material. Additional information and instructions on “next steps” are outlined in the mailing and on our website www.weirriverwater.com/LSLI.
The WRWS and our consultant Apex are committed to ensuring total compliance with the new LCRR and will continued to provide communications and assistance as outlined in the LCRR.
