The WRWS has shut down the affected section of water main. Residents on Leavitt St between Main St and Short St will experience a disruption in water service for approximately 8-10 hours. Customers in the area may also experience, fluctuations and pressure and discolored water.
The WRWS has a confirmed water main break on Leavitt St near Main St in Hingham. It is located near Eastern Bank. Crew are enroute to shut down the area.
The shutdown is Leavitt Street, between Main Street and Short Street. Any residents in the immediate area could be affected with by an interruption in water service and discolored water.
We will update as soon as we have more information and a system wide notification is being developed.
