There is a water main break of a 12” AC pipe in the area of 6 Whiting St and Main St. in Hingham due to a hydrant that was hit by a vehicle. Crews are responding to the scene to have this section of the road shut down. Customers in the immediate area may experience discolored water and loss of pressure or periodic disruptions in water service between 3:30 pm and 9:30 pm.
