C Naugton Corp has completed the installation of water mains on Atlantic Ave and Gunrock Ave. We anticipate the project will be complete by Friday, February 11, 2022. The remaining work is scheduled as outlined below.
Atlantic Ave East / Gunrock Ave:
Over the next several weeks two crews will be transferring water services on Atlantic Ave East (Cohasset side) and Gunrock Ave. Residents will be notified individually by C. Naughton Corp. In addition, they will be tying existing water mains from the side streets onto the new water main. This may require scheduled interruptions in water service. Residents will be notified in advance of these shutdowns.
Atlantic Ave West:
On Monday, January 24, 2022, at 9:00 AM, the WRWS will be shutting down the existing water main on the western side of Atlantic Ave (Nantasket Ave side) to ensure all water services were successfully transferred to the new water main. This main will remain off for a few days so we can make sure everyone has water. Once confirmed, the existing main will be cut and capped, the hydrants removed and the main taken out of service.
