Hingham Mental Health Coalition Speaker Series Presents
A Discussion About Drug and Alcohol Dependency and Recovery
Led by Coco Wellington, Licensed Mental Health Clinician (LMHC)
Coco Wellington currently owns a private practice in Scituate. She will lead a conversation about drug and alcohol dependency and addiction's effects on the body and mind, as well as dive into why people misuse drugs. She will also explore the stages of dependence and recovery. Before moving to Scituate she worked at Cambridge Hospital as the Lead Mental Health Clinician. Wellington trained at Massachusetts Mental Health Center working with those 18-years-old and older to manage anxiety, depression, life transitions, performance psychology and substance use challenges and recovery.
