The Town of Hingham Annual “Hank Maude – Service Above Self” Veteran of the Year Award
The Hingham Veterans’ Council is now taking nominations for the 2023 Veteran of the Year. The recipient will be announced during Hingham’s Veterans Day celebration on November 11, 2023 held in Sanborn Auditorium at Hingham Town Hall.
Criteria for Nominations & Eligibility:
- Veteran under Massachusetts General Law; MGL Chapter 4, Section 7, Clause 43
- Current resident of the Town of Hingham, or resident at the time of the nomination
- Community service volunteer performing activity of significant value to Hingham
- Notable civic leadership, strong character, respected member of the community
