On Wednesday, August 21 our crews will be installing a new flushing hydrant on HMS Halsted Drive in Hingham. The flushing unit is being installed to improve periodic maintenance of the water system. We do not anticipate a disruption in water service but residents in the surrounding area may experience discoloration and fluctuations in water pressure. This work is starting at 9 AM and is expected to take 6-8 hours. Please check your water before doing laundry.
