- Remember the Town and nation’s service members who were POWs or remain listed as MIA on National POW/MIA Recognition Day, in a Friday evening candlelight vigil at the POW/MIA Memorial on Whitney Wharf in Hingham Harbor.
- Walk to prevent suicide in the South Shore Out of the Darkness Community Walk to Prevent Suicide, on Saturday at Bare Cove Park, as part of National Suicide Prevention Month.
- Raise the Suicide Awareness & Remembrance (SAR) Flag at a Sunday morning ceremony at Hingham High School on National Veterans Suicide Awareness & Remembrance Day.

The annual National POW/MIA Recognition Day Candlelight Vigil was held at the POW/MIA Memorial on Hingham Harbor on Friday evening.

The South Shore Out of the Darkness Community Walk to Prevent Suicide, organized by AFSP and Elizabeth Miller, Town of Hingham Social Worker, took place on Saturday morning at Bare Cove Park.

The SAR Flag was raised at Hingham High School on Sunday morning on National Veterans Suicide Awareness & Remembrance Day. The event was organized by Hingham’s Director of Veteran Services, Senior Chief Petty Officer Keith Jermyn, USN (Ret.) and attended by State Senator Patrick O’Connor, State Representative Joan Meschino, and Select Board Member William Ramsey.
