Governor Baker announced that the remainder of individuals listed as part of Phase 1 of the state's vaccination distribution plan are immediately eligible to receive the vaccine.
The Hingham Health Department is in the process of planning vaccination clinics in the coming weeks to vaccinate eligible home-based health care workers and health care workers doing non-COVID-facing care. The vaccine is not available to the general public at this time.
If you are a home-based health care worker or a health care worker doing non-COVID-facing care as defined below, AND you either live in or work in the Town of Hingham, please fill out the Business Vaccine Information Form if you would like to receive a COVID-19 vaccination through the Hingham Health Department. We will follow up with you to schedule your vaccine appointment when we finalize clinic dates.
*unless routinely working with COVID-19 positive or suspected patients, in which case should be considered COVID-facing
Please note that individuals who do not come into contact with patients (e.g., back office, remote work, administrative staff who do not come into contact with patients) are not prioritized in Phase 1 and are not eligible to receive the vaccine at this time.
We appreciate your patience as we work through the state to administer this program. If you have any questions, please send them to CovidQuestions@hingham-ma.gov.
