Please note that the recent Crowdstrike software issue reported nationally is currently impacting Veolia, the contract operator of the Weir River Water System. At this time, Veolia is not able to receive customer phone calls or emails. They are actively working to resolve the issue.
There are no impacts to the functioning of the water system or its technology. All billing and account access remain available. We’ll provide an update once more information is available.
Please be assured that this issue is not causing any disruptions to other Town of Hingham services, including emergency services such as 911.
