17. The following regulations must be observed:
    
    > Sign shall not exceed 4 square feet total (2'x2') in size.
    
    > Sign shall be free standing, securely fastened so as not to damage persons or property.
    
    > No ‘A’-shaped signs are permitted on any Town or private property.
    
    > Sign may not be displayed more than one week prior to the event, and must be removed immediately after the event.
    
    > Illegal signs may be removed by the Building Commissioner.
